On Limpopo drillers' published price lists (checked 23 September 2026), drilling costs R290 to R300 a metre. Drilled, cased and pumping, a 40 m borehole comes to about R27,900, a 60 m borehole about R37,700 and an 80 m borehole about R48,200. A 5,000-litre tank on a 3.5 m stand adds about R28,740.
How deep will my borehole be?
